Design is not just how something looks, it’s how it works, feels, and evolves.

Designing for Change - A concept for an adaptive store

Strategy for Social Media
Design is often mistaken for how something looks.
For me, it begins much earlier and goes much deeper.
Most projects don’t start with clarity. They start with ideas that are scattered, references that don’t fully align, and a vision that feels right but isn’t fully formed. My role is not just to design within that, it’s to bring structure to it.
I see design as a process of distillation.
What stays, what goes, and what truly matters.
Designing for Change - A concept for an adaptive store
When we started this project, the idea was simple. a team of 5 people should be able to remake a store into a pop-up exhibition when needed.
The display system was conceived as a flexible, evolving element within the store designed to respond to changing retail needs rather than remain fixed.
While the primary function supported home and lifestyle products, the structure was intentionally developed to transition into a pop-up and seasonal display system. Removable shelves allow the integration of a hanging rail, enabling the space to shift seamlessly from product display to apparel-focused merchandising.
This decision was informed through on ground testing with local vendors, evaluating material behaviour, joinery, and load-bearing capacity. Particular attention was given to the weight variation between home products and garments, ensuring the system could structurally support both without compromising stability or visual lightness.

’m interested in design that holds up beyond the first impression. Like when customers browse through Instagram, they have 20 seconds to see if the brand in question is interested in the same things I am.
Design that feels intuitive, not forced.
And most importantly, design that can evolve because nothing we create is static and good design shouldn’t be either.

The result is a modular intervention that balances craft, utility, and adaptability, allowing the store to evolve with its inventory, collaborations, and seasonal narratives.

What is it that our consumers don't know, and how can we tie it to what we know?

Business design
In essence, business design without strategy research is just guesswork and a catalog without intentional design is just inventory. Together, they form the backbone of a business that doesn't just sell, but builds lasting relationships with its customers and story telling is the biggest secret sauce of any narrative.

The Souled Store loves its fandoms. This project asks: what happens when you take that energy to Dubai Mall?
A Part of Our Soul, Souled in Dubai is a full retail business design concept — covering store layout, visual merchandising, BOQ, timeline, and ROI — for a 2,000 sq. ft. pop culture store built for one of the world's most iconic retail addresses.
Bold design. Smart zoning. A clear path to profitability in under 3 years. This is what it looks like when soul meets strategy.

Centered around the philosophy of intentional curation, the catalog showcases how carefully selected pieces can transform a space into one that feels personal, rich in heritage, and deeply inviting. From Pichwai artworks and Garuda sculptures to Kuba benches, Berber cabinets, Toraja tables, and Oriental storage pieces, every item reflects craftsmanship, artistry, and cultural significance while remaining functional for contemporary living.

Before Covid hit and way before ChatGPT, I helped curate my grandma's recipes.
Paati’s Recipes is a heartfelt celebration of family, memory, and the enduring power of home-cooked food. More than a collection of recipes, the book is a tribute to Janaki Swaminathan — a grandmother whose cooking became a language of love, comfort, and togetherness. Rooted in South Indian tradition, the book preserves generations of recipes, stories, and culinary wisdom passed down through family kitchens, ensuring that her legacy continues to live on through every meal prepared from its pages.

Midsummer in Sweden is a joyful celebration of light, nature, and togetherness, marking the arrival of the longest days of summer. Rooted in centuries-old traditions, it brings people together through flower crowns, dancing around the maypole, seasonal feasts, and moments shared under the midnight sun.
